Thirty Seconds on the Road

Wed May 07 2025

Just a regular day. Bike's still in the shop, wrist’s not fully healed. Living alone for a bit—quiet, straightforward. Thought about grabbing a couple of beers on the way back, but didn’t. Nothing much else. Got back from home recently. Had an accident right after. Didn’t get to catch up properly with the family, but it is what it is. The accident was a reminder that things can flip fast. Doesn’t take much—your mistake or someone else's. I got thrown off the bike, blacked out on the road for a bit. No major injuries, just a wake-up call. Some stranger moved the bike off the road, people were helping the others involved. I came to after maybe half a minute, lying there, blank. Point is—stay aware, and if you’ve got people around you, don’t take that for granted. Doesn’t cost much to check in, be decent, or lend a hand. Sometimes small things go a long way. That’s all. Accident happened Wednesday night—April 30th. Just felt like writing it down now. Till next time, A.
